Jak Kwang Builders & Developers Sdn Bhd, formerly known as Jak Kwang Electrical Co. Sdn Bhd, was incorporated in 1973 to take over a very successful electrical retail business. The Founder of the Company, Mr. Kho Hong Meng (HM Kho) had been in property development since 1971. Within two decades, HM Kho has built up an impressive record of successfully completing every property development project and repaid all the financier of his projects. He carried on property development under Borneo Ever Bright Sdn Bhd before Jak Kwang commenced its property development business. HM Kho is farsighted and he had never focused his mind totally on quick profits. His principal goal is first and last, the homebuyer’s satisfaction. The major projects undertaken and completed were:

In the 90’s, Jak Kwang relinquished its electrical retail business and concentrate on property development. HM Kho has the benefit of his two sons, Mr. Kho Hang Chua and Mr. Kho Hang Cheng to play the key roles. Jak Kwang maintains its firm commitment to excellent development practices. The Kho’s family business-tradition continues. In the process, it provides significant contributions in the field of property development in Kuching. The need to keep up with the market changes has brought Jak Kwang into a new phase in the industry.

Owing to the general population becoming more affluent in Kuching, Jak Kwang ventures into high-end residential development that gives home buyers greater value and satisfaction.
